Contraindications for Acupuncture are those points which you may not needle, at all, or just in certain circumstances. Some of these contradictions, you may find, are not hard and fast when some circumstances dictate, however if you decide to ignore a contraindication in these circumstances, you will carry the risk of being uninsured for that session, and may harm your client if you do not fully understand the cautions. As will all acupuncture needling, if you are not sure, don’t do it.
