Philip Wheeler is a consultant clinician and guest lecturer for the Medical Acupuncture Council, with over 16 years in the health, fitness, and medical industries. His journey began in nutrition, personal training, and sports therapy, before expanding into acupuncture, regenerative medicine, and advanced clinical practice.

Philip has studied under world-renowned doctors, professors, and industry-leading experts across multiple treatment modalities, combining Eastern and Western approaches in his thriving private clinic, PW Therapy, which was awarded Best Neurological Medical Specialists 2023 – UK by Global Health & Pharma.

Using an integrated blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine, functional medicine, and regenerative science, Philip specialises in treating rare and long-term conditions — particularly neurological disorders, immune dysfunction, chronic pain, and cellular regeneration. His work has attracted the attention of leading UK neurologists and consultants, who continue to follow his research and clinical outcomes with great interest.

Philip’s search for authentic, effective, and evidence-based therapeutic education led him to the Total Therapy Training Academy, where he has earned over 30 qualifications including diplomas, licentiates, and CPDs. Today, he is one of the most qualified practitioners within the Total Therapy community — and one of its most passionate educators.

Professional Practice

Philip runs a highly successful private practice, working with clients who have complex or chronic health issues, including neurological, autoimmune, and post-viral syndromes. His clinic’s results-driven approach focuses on deep restoration of body systems using acupuncture, regenerative therapies, and functional diagnostics.

He is also a Medical Acupuncture Council representative for the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority, and consults for several private clinics across the UK. Philip continues to expand his expertise in Functional and Regenerative Medicine, currently developing his final paper on neuroplasticity and bio-electric medicine.
