This is a 1-day course running from 9:45am to 5pm.

This food and diet course teaches you the knowledge and skills to understand and analyse a client’s diet and make recommendations based on their existing food diary. (Please note this course does not award a nutrition qualification, it is aimed at TCM and western analysis of dietary issues for existing health therapists)

The aim is to gain an understanding of the key components of diet and food requirements as pertains to health and disease.
We include explanations of western diets and healthcare accepted currently, and have in depth discussions of Chinese food theory in relation to Traditional Chinese Medicine. This will cover body balancing and energetics as well as the theory of using food as a herbal medicine to treat symptoms of disease.
We will show you our innovative and unique system of analysing a client’s current diet and calculating the balance of the energetic systems and ways of altering this to bring them back into harmony.
A 6-hour CPD Certificate is awarded on completion.

“I was one of a large group of people that took this course as a CPD a few years back, and I still use the concepts in it, and have, in recent years noticed that certain parts of the food industry have started to echo what is taught on this course. When I first did it, it was way ahead of its time, and I know that it is constantly updated to deal with new changes in trend as well as issues such as food for immunity etc. I plan to attend it again next year because I know that it’s been updated, and I am still due a free re-attendance, so I’m not wasting it”
