This is a 1 day course running from 9:45pm to 5pm.
The advanced cupping course teaches many new and specialist techniques not usually taught outside of Asia and includes the use of geothermal cupping, water cupping, an overview of wet blood cupping and our specialist extra strength protocol. On this course, we jump right into the theory and practice of the advanced techniques in Chinese Cupping and do not cover basic skills, therefore having a qualification in Chinese Fire Cupping before you attend is essential.
You will receive a full certificate for the course which can be upgraded to an optional diploma by submitting 10 Case studies 3 months after course completion. These are assessed by an external examiner (examiner fee applies).
This is a totally unique course teaching techniques not normally shown outside Asia. Unlike many UK courses we show authentic techniques as used in real Chinese and Japanese clinics, that provide you with the ability to give your clients the best results. The course protocols are based on Chinese medicine theory and modern scientific physiological responses, which provide you with the new tools to take your cupping to the next level.
This course includes new techniques and advanced protocols to increase the effectiveness of the cupping treatments with a variety of common clinical issues.
We show you the small details of how to maximise your skills whilst discussing the issues and common mistakes arising in treatments, that many course providers do not discuss.
Assessment is by observation of students performing the therapy during the practical sessions to establish safe practice. Each student must be observed practising correct, safe, protocol in order to be deemed safe to practice and gain a full certificate. (equates to 6 hours CPD).

If you want to do this course you need to have a qualification in Chinese Fire Cupping, which may or may not include our standard course.
You must be 18 years or older and understand spoken and written English.
You must consent to giving and receiving manual therapy.
We don’t teach you to perform Fire Cupping on this course so you must already have a qualification in fire cupping, or book our Chinese Fire Cupping course first. Please note if you turn up on the day without any fire cupping skills, you will not be able to take part in any part of the course and you will not gain a certificate. Apart from that we do not require any other qualifications as a pre-requisite.
As this course is a CPD for those already qualified in Chinese Fire Cupping, you may not need extra insurance for this. Please note, it is always advisable to check with you insurance provider if they will cover you for any qualification if you are unsure, as they will have their own prerequisites.
