The course teaches all the traditional theory as well as modern clinical uses of hot stone geothermal therapy and covers standard whole body protocols for clients that can be used in Spa and clinic settings as well as more authentic and functional applications of single stones for use with specific issues.
It includes in depth discussions of the different types of stones and uses of these, as well as other equipment used. We will show you how it was used traditionally in conjunction with other treatment therapies so that you can quickly and easily add this effective hot massage tool alongside your current treatments.
The techniques taught give a high rate of client recovery and integrate well with other therapies such as Sports Massage, Chiropractic Manipulations, Osteopathy, and Physiotherapy.
The techniques taught use your body structure and stones for massage, and so makes massage much easier for the therapist, allowing them to work for longer hours without being as physically tiring or damaging the joints.
Assessment is by observation of the student performing the therapy during the practical sessions to establish safe practice. Each student must be observed practising correct, safe, protocol in order to be deemed safe to practice and gain a full certificate. (equates to 6 hours CPD).

Reviews

“A nice warming massage, great for my clients to de-stress, or even as a post-workout massage. This is a great course to learn great deep tissue techniques using the stones, and teaches good authentic technique which I’ve not seen used anywhere else in the UK”.
