This course runs from 9:45am to approx 5pm each day.

This course teaches advanced techniques of Master Tung as well as other rarely taught, specialist family style acupuncture points and methods predating and not used in modern acupuncture.
We will have discussions and variations on Tung and other families’ variations and approaches to treatments.
Covering advanced protocols and older style family acupuncture to support the major organs of the body.
Assessment is by observation of students performing the therapy during the practical sessions to establish safe practice. Each student must be observed practising correct, safe, protocol in order to be deemed safe to practice and gain a full certificate (Equates to 12 hours CPD).
Optional Diploma Available (equates to 32 hours CPD).

You must hold a full body TCM or 5 Element Acupuncture qualification or another acupuncture qualification that uses acupuncture points, or be medically qualified/hold a 3 year degree level in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or other high level therapist e.g. Chiropractor or Osteopath and have some practical pre-training in TCM/5E Acupuncture (Both TCM/5E theory and acupuncture point needling).
TCM/5E Acupuncture knowledge is essential for this course as we use acupuncture points, although you may be a student in one of those disciplines if you have already started needling points.
You must be 18 years or older and understand spoken and written English.
You must consent to giving and receiving manual and acupuncture therapy.

We do not teach acupuncture on this course, so you will need to hold an acupuncture qualification, or be an acupuncture student in order to attend. Please refer to our prerequisites.

If you are an acupuncture therapist already insured for full body acupuncture, your current insurance should cover you for this course.
Please note, it is always advisable to check with you insurance provider if they will cover you for any qualification if you are unsure, as they will have their own prerequisites.
