Overview of Method
The Evolve Acupuncture Method incorporates lessons from distal masters such as Dr Richard Teh Fu Tan (RIP), Dr Wei Chih Young (RIP), Dr Brad Whisnant, Dr Henry McAnn and Dr Slate Burris.
We incorporate palpation as a key diagnostic tool and also as a way of confirming our treatment is correct. We also use the 7 systems from Tung acupuncture as our foundation but simplify this model. This method stands on the premise of wholistic treatment. Recognising the body as an entire inter-related system rather than breaking it up into a symptomatic picture.
The use of distal acupuncture in Chinese medicine terms ensures we are accessing regions of the channel system that have more dynamic and easier-to-access qi flow. In Western physiology terms, we are using more nerve-dense regions of the body to access the central nervous system and effect a more rapid global change.
