Why Any Therapist Might Want to Attend This Course
The Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury course offers a unique and clinically developed approach to treating muscle, tendon and ligament injuries using acupuncture and complementary techniques. Designed for both qualified acupuncturists and those newer to needling (limited to limbs), it provides valuable knowledge and practical skills for any therapist looking to expand their treatment toolkit and improve client outcomes.
This course is particularly attractive to therapists who regularly work with musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, or chronic pain. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of tendon anatomy, healing phases, and the common challenges in recovery. The course focuses on practical, effective techniques that support faster healing and longer-lasting results.
For those choosing the full-day option, the training also includes cosmeceuticals, Gua Sha, cupping, and specialist tendon release methods, offering a holistic, multi-modality approach. These techniques can be used to complement your existing practice or open up entirely new treatment options. Learning to elicit De-Qi in areas which are not acupuncture points during needling, can also significantly enhance the effectiveness of your treatments.
Additionally, the course has strong clinical credibility, having originated in Japanese clinics and refined by Chris Davies, CEO of the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority. Whether you’re a massage therapist, acupuncturist, or bodyworker, this training gives you a rare opportunity to learn techniques not widely taught in the UK.
With flexible pricing options, the ability to upgrade to a diploma, and the chance to practice hands-on with guidance, this course is ideal for therapists seeking advanced skills, clinical confidence, and a way to stand out in their field.
